Removing Lines

[How to delete drainage lines]


To remove lines from your drainage system in DrainPlan, follow these steps:

1. Selecting Line for Removal:

  • Ensure you are out of 'Edit Mode' to interact with existing lines.

  • Left-click an existing line to highlight it.

2. Deleting Using Keyboard Shortcut:

  • With the line highlighted, press the "Delete" key on your keyboard to remove the line.

3. Deleting from Line Properties (Optional):

  • Right-click the line to open "Line Properties."

  • Select the "Delete line" button from the properties menu to remove the line.


 

Removing Chambers

[How to remove chambers]

Hiding Chambers: Instead of removing chambers which will in turn remove lines associated, you can alternatively hide chambers by right clicking into chamber properties and clicking the "Hide Chamber" style at the bottom.

To remove chambers from your drainage system in DrainPlan, follow these steps:

1. Selecting Chamber for Removal:

  • Ensure you are out of 'Edit Mode' to interact with existing Chambers.

  • Left-click an existing Chamber to highlight it.

2. Deleting Using Keyboard Shortcut:

  • With the Chamber highlighted, press the "Delete" key on your keyboard to remove the Chamber.

3. Deleting from Chamber Properties (Optional):

  • Right-click the Chamber to open "Chamber Properties."

  • Select the "Delete Chamber" button from the properties menu to remove the Chamber.


 

Moving Chambers

[Changing position of Chambers]


In DrainPlan, you can adjust the position of Chambers and the lines will update in real-time. Here's how you can move a chamber:

How to Move a Chamber:

  1. Exit Edit Mode: Ensure you are not in 'Edit Mode' to manipulate existing chambers.

  2. Drag and Drop: Use the Left Mouse Button (LMB) to click and drag the chamber to its desired location.
